We would appreciate your prayers for the following:
Women of Vision
That our chapter would be faithful to our mission of advocating and increasing awareness of the issues of
poverty, promoting child sponsorship, and fundraising.
Honduras
For Families:
- Improved harvests, food security, health, and living conditions for the farming community
For FUNED (Development Foundation of Honduras – A Microfinance Institution):
- Sufficient financial and moral support to face the challenges of this coming year
- Improved relations between FUNED and the World Vision Area Development Programs
- That God would bless them in His abundance, and turn the hearts of foundation clients toward Jesus
Cambodia
- Increased success in combating the trafficking and sexual exploitation of children
- Increased child sponsorship
- Excellent after care programs for all children rescued from the sex trade; mental, physical, and spiritual healing
- Increased support to strengthen the family unit
Mongolia
- Causes of poverty would be eradicated
- Provide safe shelter for homeless children
- Provide for the physical, social, and spiritual needs of the children
- Maximize resources available for the care of the children
- Promote healthy families
Mozambique
- Message on abstinence and faithfulness in marriage would be effective and result in behavioral changes and healthy choices
- World Vision would build a sense of trust and commitment
Children's Relief Nursery
- Provide a nurturing community for children
- Support for the parents
- Break cycle of abuse
- Adequate funding for programs
Dear Father God,
We pray for oppressed people everywhere; help us to work for their justice. We pray for people
who suffer because of their religious or political beliefs. We pray for those who have been forced into conflict and violence. Please help bring them into a more peaceful place, and please help others work
to bring peace to them. We pray for prevention, relief, and restoration charities and those working for fair trade. We thank you for helping us to see your face in every man, woman and child who is in
need today. Thank you for the friendships and support that you give us every day.
Thank you God for hearing our prayers today and every day. Amen
