- Sign up to be a Women of Vision Partner and receive our newsletter and invitations to all programs and events. Your annual pledge of $50 is tax deductible and supports the work of our chapter as we reach out to
impoverished women and children.

- Please join us as we serve in our own community. Please consider volunteering with us at the Children's Relief Nursery, working to prevent child abuse and neglect in the St. Johns area of north Portland.

office. Trips are open to partners (who always pay their own way) after one year of active service with Women of Vision.

Sharing your resources: Please prayerfully consider giving a gift to
directly help the children and families in the projects we support. Columbia-Willamette Women of Vision
has pledged $100,000 during this fiscal year to the work of World Vision in Mongolia and $10,000 each to Zambia and Malawi. We have also pledged $60,000 to the Cambodia Trauma Recovery Center and $5,000 to the Children's Relief Nursery. This money will allow the World Vision Mongolia staff to continue and expand its Lighthouse program to offer food, shelter, clothing, education, love, and hope to more homeless children, and it will allow the World Vision Zambia and Malawi staff to serve the villages of Kangombe and Ngopi, ravaged by drought and HIV/AIDS. It will help heal and rehabilitate those who are rescued from the horrid trauma of sexual exploitation.

To Partner Or Not To Partner By Kathy TeckmanWomen of Vision partner with women and their children around the world to create mutual
life-changing opportunities. Each year when the partnership letters are mailed, I pray for many of you to become Women of Vision partners. What is a partner and why do we ask you to partner with us?
According to Webster's dictionary, a partner is a partaker, sharer, colleague, and interestingly, it is also the heavy timber that strengthens a ship's deck to support a mast. When you partner with WOV you
are the heavy timber that strengthens our mission and supports the very thing that keeps us going. The $50 yearly partnership fee, which is tax deductible, pays for Women of Vision's administrative costs.
Without partners, we cannot exist. You will be receiving our annual partnership letter soon. Please say "yes, I will partner with WOV."
